3PAR 8xxx without Service Processor

Can we initialize HPE 3PAR 8xxx without Service Processor ?

Hi

Yes sure connect through the serial cable to node 0 (57600 8 bit no parity)

login as console and run OOTB ( option 1)

it's the same procedure as for 7XXX

you will not have alerts to HP and will not be able to upgrade the system

The 3PAR needs an SP, this is a support requirement.

This can be a physical server or a virtual machine.
