3par disk status normal but led amber is on
Hi, I've recently replaced a disk in a 3par 7200. The servicemag completed sucesfully, there's not any active alert about a failed disk but the disk has the led amber steady on.
What do you recommend in this case?

Is the amber LED still on?
Can you please check if the firmware update for the drive is due?

You can run the below command and check the physical drive status.
locatecage -t 1 cage2 3

Hi,
@sbhat09 the disk has the same firmware like the other disks
@Ramesh_Kumar_PI've already did and the led is still on.

Yes, HPE announced end of life. But still HPE do support the existing customer, if they do have the valid contract.
This might need support logs to validate the issue to advice the next action. So better to have the case logged for the same.
