3par performance questions
Hi,
I met some 3par performance problems. hope someone can guide me, thanks in advance.
1, what is the difference between statvv and statvlun. The IOPS and IO are the same in statvv and statvlun. But the servicetime is different. Seems like the service time of statvlun is the response time to the host. So what dose it in statvv mean?
2, When I simulate the IO test by IOMeter from Windows 2008 host. Storage is 3par SS20840 I take the 8MB seq write test. From the host IOMeter, I see the IOPS is 340. But in the storage side, I see the IOPS is about 5500. Why they are different?
statport is as bellow..Thanks!

Re: HPE 3PAR performance questions

statvlun is the I/O that comes from the hosts. statvv includes that and also from I/O generated on the array.
The latter could include Remote Copy and createvvcopy.
