If I have a StoreServ 7400 with 4 nodes configurations,
and then two nodes fail at the same node canister..
Does the 7400 can still provide I/O service for front Host server?

Re: How many nodes does 7400 can fail at same time?
The 3PAR is designed to survive a single node failure.
The chance that two nodes fails at the same time is not high.

Re: How many nodes does 7400 can fail at same time?
Just a clarification, original poster stated ‘at the same time’, the solution is correct, we can lose a node from each of two different node pairs but not at the same time.
If you lost two nodes, one from each of two different pairs, at the exact same time you will lose access to data. The system needs to do background work after a node goes down and two at the same time does not allow for that work to be done. Data will not be lost but access to data will in this scenario.
Whether you will serve data well with two nodes down is a whole different question, even if they happen 20 minutes apart, you will suffer a great performance hit with 50% of your processing power removed.
