how to reclaim space after remove RC group or dismiss vv from RC group?

The 3PAR space is nearly full, I want to remove the RC group in order to remove the RC snapshot VV.
After I add some disks, recreate theRC group again.

I would suggest to review your system and see if any space can be reclaimed back first before you removing RC setup.

For example, first run below command one at a time on each VV where no snapshot exists or RC(remote copy) data copy completed. run below command on all VVs if you find reserved space allocated but used space shows as zero under snapshot space.

freespace -f <VV_name>

Once above command completed then run compactcpg in dryrun mode on each CPG one at a time to check if any space reclaim possible or not. If it shows good amount of space reclaim possible then go for actual compactcpg.

compactcpg -dr <CPG_name>

compactcpg -f <CPG_name>
