Install Vmware Tools on Virtual Service Processor (VSP)
After an upgrade performed by the 3par team I no longer have VMTools running on my VSP. HPE support have bounced me between a few teams now and I am still no better off. I cannot believe I am the only one to experiance this issue
Does anyone know how I can get this done myself? I have Spvar access via ssh or console but that gets me to the HPE 3par Service Processor Menu. I am not able to drop to CLi from there.

Re: Install Vmware Tools on Virtual Service Processor (VSP)
I may not need it, but from a compliance point of view, its the only box in the whole infrastructure without tools. This seems to up a lot in this forum. I find it hard to believe there is no solution to have this installed.

Re: Install Vmware Tools on Virtual Service Processor (VSP)
Hi
the only time you have root access to the VSP is when you install
a new one before you configure it and connect it to your 3PAR.
installing a new VSP is not hard so you can try that.
