Number of PD in 3par is wrong

Hi,

After a sudden shutdown due to a power blackout, I have the fans at high speed for over two days and the number of physical disks when I use shwopd command are nine instead of 8 pd installed where I only have the license of 8 pds.

Is there a way to reduce the fan speed and correct this mistake?

Hello @Abdalla1988,

I doubt there must be some activity running that resulted in high fan speed.

What is the current status of fan speed? If they are still high, please run the command 'showtask -active' to list such activities in progress. Also share the output for 'showpd' There may be a PD showing duplicate listing.
