system is prompt:

Menmory has been initialized ,but not tested because FAST-BOOT is enabled ,to test menmorry , disable FAST-BOOT with the system.

1. Interrupt at Boot Sequence.
(Press any key to interrupt within 10 seconds)\
2. Main Menu: Enter Command>> COfiguration
3.Configuration Menu: Enter Command >> FastBoot OFF

Re: A question about install hp-ux

Hi Shao,
After the System is booted you can set the FAST-BOOT off as follows:

# setboot -t FASTBOOT=off
# setboot -v
This display's the changed value.

Re: A question about install hp-ux

HI,
After changing the Value of FASTBOOT you will see the current setting as ON only but the NEXT-BOOT will show it as OFF. So you need to reboot the system and the change will take effect.

Re: A question about install hp-ux

Hi,

I'm afraid the B2600 firmware does not support setboot -t or -v.

You will have to stop the boot at the BCH (boot console handler).

If you cannot interrupt the boot at BCH, in order to go to COnfig menu, chances are that the system is set to "SECURE" mode. In that case you need to physically disconnect the disk. Then you will be set to BCH where you can set SECURE off.
