APC UPS Powerchute software cannot communicate with HP L1000 Server
I've connected the APC UPS through an APC shareout (with 8 output) to 2 nos of L1000 server (Unix) and 2 nos of LH4 (NT) server. The Communication between the LH4 is fine. APC UPS's Engineer has inform me that we need to configure the RS232 port on the LH4 server. Kindly advise how can we configure the 3 ports on LH4 Server.
P.S: 3 ports- 1 is used for web console
1 is used for re-mote modem
1 is used for general purpose

Re: APC UPS Powerchute software cannot communicate with HP L1000 Server
Hi , pls refer to the document for the unsupported powerchute_plus for HP-UX server
configure as simple signaling for Series 300 and 800 . That's mean you only can connect one L class to the advanced port (smart signaling ) on share ups .
