Re: Attention Light on rp7410
I have not tried it myself, but I found some info:
You can connect to the GSP using the customer LAN port by following this
procedure:
1) Add a route to the GSP from a system on the same subnet as the GSP, and
check that you can ping it:
- On a PC, start up a Command Prompt (DOS) window, and type:
c:\\> route add 192.168.1.1 pcIpAddress
c:\\> ping 192.168.1.1
- On an HPUX workstation or server, log in as root and type:
% /etc/route add 192.168.1.1 uxIpAddress
% /etc/ping 192.168.1.1
2) Use a PC or HPUX telnet program to telnet to the GSP. e.g.
% telnet 192.168.1.1
3) Reset the LAN parameters to their proper values using the LC command
from the command menu.
Note: the PC or HPUX system must be on the same subnet as the GSP. There must
not be two GSPs on the same subnet responding to the default IP address.
Please let us know how you get on !
