CPU

I have a T600 that lost a processor this morning. The reason I knew this was the Tclass has a LCD on front of the box that shows the number of cpu's. Question, how can I tell from the ts99 file, which processor went bad?

Re: CPU

The file you attached show 15/0 I beleive if you open up the cabinet it has a display that shows which slots the cpu can be installed in and show the slot numbers. See if you can match them up or find slot 15/0.

Re: CPU

According to the file you attached, Processor 13/0 had a HPMC and was deconfigured. Your system would have crashed and the processor would have been deconfigured when rebooting.
Processor 13/0 had a D-Cache parity error.
Another way to check that it was deconfigured is to do the following on the system console:
1. do a "control b" and hit return.
2. at the "cm" prompt type "sp" and hit return.
3. at the "sp" prpmpt type "hc" and hit return.
4. This will display the host configuration and you should be able to see what is configured and deconfigured.
5. Following the prompts to get back to the "sp" prompt and type "co" for console will get you back to the console prompt.

The quotes are not type on any of the above commands.
