Cut and paste the GSP logs to a file

Hi,

I am having an L class server. I can login to the server with a web console......
How can i cut and paste the error message of the GSP to a file or paste it to forum ?

Is it required to have a character based console to enable/configure the lan console or lan console is having default ip ?

Any help is appreciated.

What I've done is to start replacing HP's web consoles with Arula's (they make them for HP and used to be part of HP). They have a lot more options than Hp's standard web console.

Re: Cut and paste the GSP logs to a file

Unfortunately, the current Web Console firmware does not allow cut-n-paste. The LAN Console is a character-based interface so you could use a PC-based terminal emulator with cut-n-paste features. The LAN Console port is not available on all HP 9000 computers such as the K and D-class.

NOTE: The GSP firmware is not a secure interface so this IP connection should be not be published or available to unsecured networks.

Hai Arjun @AN :))

You have to configure LAN console and do telnet from your PC to LAN Console IP.You will get login prompt on you telnet session type Cntrl+B to go to GSP mode.

From there you can view and cut the error messages. Paste the message to a file and send it to forum.

Use any terminal emulator software to get a clear output.
