fc cards in d370

Hi All,
Maximum how many fibre channel cards and what types can I install in d370 server.Currently I ahve one 3591A Tachyon card installed.I need to add more cards.

Hi,

The card you have will only work as loop.
Have a look at this link for all FC cards
for all servers. Most switches are now
supporting fabric, which seems to be the
best option. Your model takes a A6684A.

Hi,

I've been trying to find the on-line
document for this. (I have a hard copy)
From this document it states the
following (A3636-90002)

For model 350,360,370 and 380 systems, up
to three HSC Fibre channel cards may be
installed in any allowable HSC slot. If the
maximum of three adaptors are installed,
one of the adaptors must be installed in
HSC1, slot 3, path 10/12 (Turbo Slot). For
other supported D-Class models, up to two
HSC fibre channel adaptors may be installed
in any allowable HSC slot.
