I have a HP9000 L-2000 server with 11i OS. Sometimes when I reboot this server, it got FAULT and ALERT lights blinking in the front panel. Also there were error logs in GSP. Please find attached screenshot. How to fix it? After the reboot completed, the server syslog.log didn't have similar error.
Please help. Thanks.
Best Regards,
Jan

SolutionHow was the system rebooted? Was it a graceful shutdown or power cycle/reset?
The fault light will continue to blink on the front panel until you view the GSP logs with the SL command.
If this was a graceful shutdown, you may want to tail OLDsyslog.log although I suspect there won't be any useful information there. You may want to take a look at the ts99 and check for valid timestamps. This may indicate a problem that HW support would need to look at further.
Best Regards,
Eric
