HP 9000 G50 Console cable

Hello,

I have a hp9000 G50 (upgraded from a G30) and have been trying to connect up a 700/96 tty to it.

Since we cannot find a "genuine hp consoe, cable anywhere, we created a PS/2M to DB25M cable per

We still are not getting anything on the console.
Any suggestions?

Thanks Tom & Jean!

I followed toms link and went out Radio sack for the necessary connectors. We made up a 2-ft cable using the Radio Shack coonectors and some shielded cat 5 we had around. It works perfectly.
