hp server model questions and about supercomputer..
hi,
i have only working knowlegde with hpux. very little with hp servers.
so just i like to know,
1.)i heard some models with hp servers..like D, L, V something, etc.. how to find out a hp servers model by a command...
2.) what is the high end server available from hp? what is the small end or first lower end server from hp..
3.) is there any performance issue differences between pa risc and itanium?
4) i am thinking that supercomputers are made by adding good high end servers together by particular methods. is it so?... shall i think "a supercomputer is a combination of servers(othervise a big server)"
5. pa risc is a product from hp. in the same way itanium also a product from hp?
thanks in advance.

Re: hp server model questions and about supercomputer..
2) Superdome
3) Itanium excels at floating point calculations and, therefore, encryption
4) That's a fair statement
5) Yes
