Hi gurus,
I'll like to connect the ds2100 to two controlers on the same server. one port to the hba a6829a and the other to the "default" hba on the L server. Will this work without problems? Will I need to set something on the hba?
Thanks in advance.

Solution
Hi, Rafael.
I think it should work without problems as long as you set one of the HBA's SCSI ID to 6.
The default SCSI ID for SCSI HBAs is 7 as is the one with the highest priority on the bus. So, if you set up a bus with 2 controllers, you must set them up with different SCSI ID.
On an L-class, this is done from the BCH menu (the menu that appears if you interrupt the boot process at the "... 10 seconds to interrupt...").
Once there, execute the "CO" command to go to config menu. Inside config menu, there is a command called SCSI that will allow you to set up SCSI IDs for all the SCSI adapters in your system as well as the SCSI rate (i.e. the bus speed). Be careful to set both them to the same speed but to different SCSI ID. The order in SCSI ID priority is: 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 0 15 14 13 12 11 10 9 8.
Best regards and good luck.

Re: L-class, a6829a, ds2100
Sorry, it's not in config menu but in service menu, accessible by SER command.
