how can i find a bad memory module from an LPMC / SEDC message on 9000/887/G70/H70

Get the latest release of STM (Support Tools Manager) and get a temporary password for STM from HP.
Run mstm and highlight memory by pressing "space key" and select "Tools" and then "Expert Tool" in the menu at the top of the screen.

Now, you'll be in "Expert Tool for device Memory".
Select "Tools" in the menu and choose "Address resolution" which will ask you an interesting memory address to resolve.
