No Video Output on My HP 9000 A500
Hello,
I have received several HP A500 with HP monitors. These machines are pre-installed with HP-UX 11i. When I connect a monitor to any of these machines and switch on the power, nothing happens on the console except a yellow line at the bottom of the screen. I can only get console messages by connecting a serial line to the machine.
Does anybody know how to connect a graphic console to this kind of machine ?
My video card is a A6150A (A6150 - 6002)
in my PDC, the path for Console Path is : 0/0/4/0.643
0/0/4/0.283
And my video card are on : 0/2/0/0
if i change the path with 0/2/0/0.0 they don't work, always no video
Thanks for any help

Servers that has GSP are not able to modify the console path, meaning you cannot use the graphics adapter as the system console on an A class.

Sounds like your reseller needs a few configuration lessons. Call them up and demand they come get them and give you a refund.

Harry,
We are having the same problem. What configuration lessons are you referring to? Thanks.
