not match memory size on Stratus server

we installed same RAM on stratus serve, but log shows "duplex not match memory size" this error. What steps are neccessary after installing additional memory ??? OS HP-UX v11.0

I doubt there are very many people that knows anything about Stratus servers. It would be better to look at their web site.
I only know they OEMed PA-RISC HP-UX.

And here I was thinking I was the only one to ever have to work with these monstrocities.

Firstly, what _exactly_ did you add? You should be aware if you add two RAM chips to one processing board, you need to add an identical two to another processing board.

Stratus is even more finnicky than HP about non-OEM parts.

Ultimately this is such a specialized server, you couldn't posibly be running one without Stratus support- give them a call.

But like I stated, this is not a server you should be trying to run without manufacturer support. It's simply too specialised. It's not just a white-box server with an OEM OS.
