Problems with GSP login
I set up the GSP with a couple of standard accounts, as well as the LAN console. I check everything out, and I can log in & out of the GSP LAN port w/0 any problems.
But, so far, three of the four systems in the field have developed a GSP login problem. I can connect to the GSP LAN and get the login prompt. I enter a valid login, and then it asks for a password, which is entered. I hit return, and it just repeats the name/passwd request. Does this three time, and disconnects. I have reset the GSP via the stty command in a root session. No diff.
I have had to do the GSP reset and have someone at the console enter yes to clear the user accounts. Then I can get in. I have readded the accounts, but so far without the problem repeating. May not happen again, but...
Any thoughts

stty +queryGSP < /dev/GSPdiag1
...and this will reset and load defaults:
stty +resetGSP < /dev/GSPdiag1

Re: Problems with GSP login
If I do the +resetGSP, and have someone at the system console to answer the question, it will clean out the user accounts which then allows me to get into w/o any account info

Re: Problems with GSP login
looks like you need to enable telnet login on the GSP,
I think recently by default telnet and http access were enabled but it may have changed (or I may be wrong...)

Bernhard

Re: Problems with GSP login
The first time this happened to one system, I thought it was me. But now it's happening on a third (out of four).
