Reboot command on a halted system

How would I reboot a V Class server that was shutdown via shutdown -h command from the SPP console (V Class test station)?

Re: Reboot command on a halted system

Use the reset command (RS) from OBP.

Or power it off & wait a minute or two & power it up. But the RS command is the easiest....

If the power is still on and connected, just control-B and RS like every other system.

Re: Reboot command on a halted system

Login to V class test station as "sppuser" and issue "do_reset" command.

Thanks

Re: Reboot command on a halted system

Moreover, to determine the boot path of root disks get to the SPPCONSOLE before booting up the OS.

By entering the PAth command at the Command prompt the list will display the bootpath, alternate path, console and keyboard.

Used alone, the path command displays all of the above mentioned paths.
$ Command: pa

Primary boot path = 5/2/0.6.0
Alernate boot path = 15/3
Keyboard path = 15/1 (can only be viewed and not modified)
Console path = 15/1

Good luck,

Re: Reboot command on a halted system

Hi there.
You could also press the little TOC button
with a pen.
Mostly used version is to login on test station as sppuser and do a 'do_reset'.
That should kick your v-class back to live again.
