I am installing a GPS device to my L-class server which needs a serial connection . Can I use the UPS port or the Remote Console Port? It seemed that the UPS port did not work when I installed it. Error: can't open device. Please help.

Re: serial port query on L-class
You would have a higher success rate if you use the "remote console port" which is the port usually used to connect to a modem, though I do not have experience in connecting a GPS device to it.
