T600 Memory Maximum

I’m trying to remember what the memory max is for a T600. I seem to remember that since it’s PA-RISC v1 (32 bit) that the max was around 3.5 GB. Can anyone confirm?

The T600 used PA-8000 CPUs which were 64-bit. running HP-UX 11.x, it can have up to 32GB memory in 4x 8GB memory carriers. This may limit the number of CPUs, however.

the physical max memory on the T600 is 16GB... you can only use 2 x 8GB carriers with 16 x 1GB memory modules.

Sorry Josh, I just checked and it does look like the T600 will take 32GB.. I was just thinking of the max config with the 12 CPU and with that configuration you can only get 16GB in there.

and yes Stephen, my HP T-Class Enterprise Configuration Guide book says that if you using 10.20 or below, 32-bit, the max is 3.75GB on the T600
