Upgrade from L2000 to L3000

Can anybody tell me procedure for L2000 to L3000 with detail of common problems I can face ?

Common problems:

1) You server will not boot
2) GSP will hang
3) Server will be even more slower than earlier

Your device paths will get changed. Your Console path also can change....so be very care full and take complete backup before going for this...

Procedure for upgradation:

1) Take complete backup
2) CHeck you are able to restore it
3) Upgrade all patches and firmware with latest one
4) Run IOSCANUPGRADE script. It will change your hardware paths for all concerned devices. Script is available on net.
5) Shutdown server. Replace CPU/IO card/ System board/Memory card.
6) Start server in maintenance mode( huux -lm)
7) check everything is working
8) reboot in normal mode again...

I am unable to enter console...what can be the reason ?

change console path from default to 0/0/4/0/0

Why it is taking so much time while booting...any specific reason ? This is last time I am bothering u for this problem.

No problem at all..Thing is for first time it will be taking lot of time. But after this everything will be smooth...it is normal phenomena.
