upgrade N4000 from 440 MHz to 750 MHz cpu

We have recently upgraded our N4000 from three 440 MHz cpu's to three 750 MHz cpu's, using the upgrade kit Product Number A6750A. As I understand it, the parts that were replaced during this upgrade were the core I/O board, the system board, the processor support module, and the cpu's. My collegue wants to know the differences between the old boards and the new boards. Anyone have any information?

Thanks

Re: upgrade N4000 from 440 MHz to 750 MHz cpu

The processor support module is basically the power supply to the cpu's. Since the cpu's are different so is the voltage requirments. The system board is different because of a different instruction set and a larger onboard cache. The believe that the I/O bus speed increases with the new cpu's also so that is probably why the I/O board was replaced.
