Web Console logine not coming up

Hi,

I have 2 HP RP5430 Unix servers. On one the WEB console is working perfectly. On the other one I used be able to use it but now I just get a black screen with the heading zoom in/out at the top. I can telnet to the web console port address from a reflections session. Any way of resetting the web console without rebooting?.

You can reset the GSP with

GSP> xd
(select "r")

Check the settings with

GSP> el
(enable/disable LAN, web ...)

Check the java version on your PC (the web console is using java) - IMHO this connection is too slow to work with ;-(
I would prefer to use telnet instead.

Thanks for replying so quickly. How do I get into GSP?. It may be simple but I have never really looked at the Web console except when the root password has expired.

Telnet to the GSP and login. If you get the OS login prompt (depends on the configured mode) press CTRL B to get the GSP interface.

Resetting the GSP didn't get the Web console working for me. I can live with telnet until the reboot if there isn't any other solution.
