2 HP2901al Switches with seperated 2 VLAN Problem & Conflict ..... Need Help
Anyone can help with this please :
We have two HP2901al switches,
Both switches connected through Eth cable for each VLAN, I mean VLAN Switch1 30 connected to VLAN Switch2 30 through Eth cable & same for VLAN 40,
3 VLAN have been configured as in below :
- VLAN 20 as Mangement.
- VLAN 30 as Input Multicast Stream .
- VLAN 40 Output Multicast Stream.
Right now, we have many conflicts now,
The Problem is: we want to have one switch responsible of Multicasting,
Hint : is there any way to disable the multicast feature of one of the switches & keep the other on multicast enabled.
Thank you in advance

I'm not sure I understand what the conflicts are you mention, but if these switches are routing, have you enabled IP multicast routing on them?
