3Com 4800G (JD010A) firmware upgrade fails
Hello,
Can someone tell me how to upgrade the firmware on this switch.
We are currently running firmware "Software Version 5.20 Release 2102P02"
We would like to upgrade to at least the 2202P version, and if possible A5500EI_E4800G_5.20.R2208 or S4800G-CMW520-R2202P15-S56. But the problem is we can upload the firmware to the switch but when we set the new firmware file active as main application, the switch keeps on rebooting.
When we switch back to the original firmware everything is OK.
The reason we want to upgrade the firmware is because of the additional SFP+ modules to support 10Gb.
The modules currently installed are model: HP JD368B two port 10Gb SFP+ module.
I hope someone can help me with this issue.
Regards
