4 Switch DT setup
Hi,
I am looking at a way of setting up four 5400zl switches using DT to connect them together and have the expected "meshed" result. I have seen a document from HP showing that it can be done...
http://h20195.www2.hp.com/v2/GetPDF.aspx/4AA3-4841ENW.pdf
But in a more detailed configuration guide it does not show the same setup...
I am just wondering if anyone has successfully implemeted a "meshed" DT setup with four core switches, similar to the first links setup.
At the moment I can only think that you setup DT-LACP trunks from switches 1 & 2 connecting to switch 3 and another connecting to switch 4, but the connections on switchs 3 and 4 are just LACP trunks, not DT-LACP, so there is no DT-LACP trunks setup on switches 3 & 4 connecting back to switches 1 & 2.
I am a little stumped as to the correct configuration. Any pointers would be apprecaited.
