Hi all.
On two of my three 5406zl switches, the web agent is not available.
When I try to access the web agent, the switch defaults to a small overview page called
A.B.C.D/html/bobView.html
which is obviously a subview of the web agent.
Any idea why it does this, and how do I get the normal web agent back?
I can't see any difference in the configuration of the three switches, and to my knowledge the web agent has not been disabled.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Re: 5406zl web agent strange behavior
When the last of my three 5406zl's got the flu also, I decided to reboot them all.
After a reboot, the normal Web Agent reappeared, but now - after 30 minutes or so - they all show the same "bobView.html" again. This is actually the live view used in PCM, but the full web agent is not available.
What is happening?
Firmware version is K.15.08.0013

SolutionYou need to setup a username/password for the switche's "operator" or "manager" or both privilege levels on the switch to stop this redirection.
I think it's a security measure to avoid anyone from managing a unsecured switch by typing the IP address on a browser.
You can still access the full controls without having to configure a password by typing http://A.B.C.D/html/nhome.html as the URL - But maybe not recommended practice.
Took me sometime to figure it out.

Re: 5406zl web agent strange behavior
You're a lifesaver ;-)
Couldn't bypass the controls as described, though. I only got the top bar of the page, but hey ... with the right solution in place, that doesn't matter.
