8206zl (Premium) Core Switch with E3800 Edge Switches not routing VLANs
We've been struggling to get what should be a very simple initial network topology configured, even with additional assitance from other 3rd parties familiar with routing. What we're looking to accomplish is two completely separate VLANs with 2 ISPs. VLAN 1 is for private traffic (10.0.0.1/8 router, 10.1.0.10/8 8206, 10.1.0.20/8 3800). VLAN 2 is for Public traffic (192.168.1.1/24 router, 192.168.1.2/24 8206, 192.168.1.10/24 3800). I have enabled IP Routing and also tried without IP Routing enabled. Created static routes (IP ROUTE 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 10.0.0.1 & IP ROUTE 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.1.1) . We've tried no IP Address under VLAN 2 as well as a static IP on each VLAN and each switch. When showing static routes they don't show the 192 network. I'm unable to get a DHCP assigned IP Address from the far switch then, even with the IP Helper address configured. Can anyone confirm the easiest configuration sample to accomplish this with settings for the 8206, 3800 and client on far end? Sorry but this has continued to work intermitently and has become quite frustrating as it appears to only work with the ARP table knows where to go for VLAN 2 regardless of static route created. Wired seems to work better than when we try to use Meraki MR12 or MR26 to route VLAN traffic
