SolutionWe're on K15 now, so K12 is very old firmware.
There are two different 5400 chassis: V1 & V2.
The latest modules are V2 modules. Older ones are V1.
There are various issues with putting V2 modules in a V1 chassis, or vice-versa.

Re: Can anyone help me upgrading 5406 zl switch ?
I have the exact same issue currently. What are the issues running V2 modules on a V1 chassis?
Any idea what the firmware path is to K.15.xx?

Re: Can anyone help me upgrading 5406 zl switch ?
In fact, the chassis itself hasn't changed, it's the firmware that introduced support for V2 modules.
V2 modules won't work in older firmware.
Mixing V1 & V2 modules in newer firmware reduces performance down to the V1s' capability.
