configure HP 2620-48 (J9626A) as a DHCP server, how?

Is it possible to configure switch HP2620-48 (J9626A) as a DHCP server? If yes, how?

Hi,

no, provision switches (like 2620) never have a dhcp server function.

All comware based switches support dhcp server function,

I have heard talk that some future ProCurve switches may have a DHCP server function, most likely the ones with the ProVision ASIC (8200, 5400, 3800, maybe 2920).

Apparently the DHCP server in the Comware switches is not supposed to be used for production environments. I can't recall where I read that recently, it may have been in these forums. However, I have used it quite successfully on several different Comware switches including 5830, 3600V2, and routers MSR20- 20, MSR3012.
