HP 2920 Series Switches
Is it possible to reset the swith to factor default settings from command line instead of using the mode button the front panel.

hi,
yes, the CLI is based on the procurve command syntax.
To reset the config to factory defaults use the command erase startup-config
Please note that the password and username are not part of the config by default. You need additional command to reset the password and username in config mode.

You can reset just the stacking with
stacking factory-reset
