Connecting two switches

Hello,

I would like to ask a basic question. I have 2 switches HP 2610 - 24  and HP 2620-48. I want to connect them each other and use them to serve to manage the same network. How do i do this?

Well, i think because two of the switches has Auto-MDIX feature, with a ethernet cable, the connection should work. Am i wrong?

A straight through cable should be fine. If you are connecting via the 1000BASE-T ports, which is probably a good idea, auto-crossover is pretty much universal from any vendor.
