Default conduct for incoming frames with priority on HP2510 SW
Hello everyone here's a question:
I've got a switch (for example 2510) with settings of VLANs, but without CoS/QoS settings (like switch from the box, by default).
So if that switch will receive some frames with CoS priority 5 and some frames with priority 0, will that switch use that priority or it will be like all frames are equals?

Re: Default conduct for incoming frames with priority on HP2510 SW
Hi,
Thank you for writing
Yes the switch will consider all frames as the same if there are no Qos/Cos in place. The interface always consider the values that the incoming frames are configured with,it does not alter, it just forwards tased on the priority its has been sent with. Therefore it will consider all frames as same if there is no specific Qos/Cos in place.
