How to clear/reset mac-address-table on 2810-24G?
Actually a cross-post from http://www.reddit.com/r/networking/comments/37o4qa/hp_procurve_and_cam_table/ for a user who is too lazy to register on this HP forum in order to ask his question :-)
So ill try to help him/her, perhaps someone in here might have an answer for this question?

HP ProCurve and cam table
I can't figure out how to clear the cam table. I know that the mac-addresses age every 300 seconds, but how do I force clear the cam table w/o rebooting the switch or waiting the 300 seconds? I can't find anything in google, but I feel confident that this can be done.

Re: How to clear/reset mac-address-table on 2810-24G?
I don't have a 2810, but on a 2920 there is a "clear mac-address <port | vlan>" command. You can use the "clear mac-address port all" command to clear everything.
I am running very new software, so it is possible that this command is available for me an not on the older 2810. You could try updating the software if you aren't running the latest. Of course, this would require a reboot.
Also, when you disconnect a cable from a port, it will erase the MAC addresses learned on that port.
