HP Procurve Part Numbers

I am looking for a good explanation Procurve part numbers as I can’t find one anywhere. I am not looking for a great explanation just the simple stuff like what is the difference between the A and the AC on the JE069A and the JE069AC. Another example that I already partially have the answer to is JC, JD, JE, JF are all 3com based switches but what I don’t know is what does the C, D, E, or F mean and what does their counterpart in the original procuve line mean

PS- I realize my HP business partner should know this or be able to get the answer though they don’t and I don’t have the option to going to a different more knowledgeable partner
