HP Procurve switches and over temperature protection

Hello

I wanted to ask very simple question. Do the HP ProCurve switche have any over temperature action? Or another way: what the switch happen if temperature of the switch (detected by its sensor) exceeds some threshold value? Is there any specific protection (like switch shutdown, decreasing of resource utilization)?

I found only one information about "over-temperature protection" here (related to switch power supplies) but without any specific information.

Please can someone tell me more about over-temperature protection on PH ProCruve switches?

thank you

Re: HP Procurve switches and over temperature protection

Hi,

As per specs the operating temperatures are between 0C - 40/55C which is quite high. Havent seen any information on its behaviour when it hits the limits..
