invalid signature

i am getting an message about every 30 seconds.

W 03/09/11 21:12:32 00564 ports: port A13 PD Invalid Signature indication.
W 03/09/11 21:12:03 00564 ports: port A13 PD Invalid Signature indication.
W 03/09/11 21:11:53 00564 ports: port A13 PD Invalid Signature indication.
W 03/09/11 21:11:47 00564 ports: port A13 PD Invalid Signature indication.
W 03/09/11 21:11:28 00564 ports: port A13 PD Invalid Signature indication.

i can't seem to find this error anywhere.

Hi,

Is this port delivering Power to any PoE device ?

If yes, what is the device (référence, and PoE consumption) ? What is your switch configuration ?

Do you have any other PoE device ? If yes can you try to exchange the end-nodes to check if the problem follow the device or is on the port ?

If the problem follow the device this could be relevant to pre-standard PoE device or misconfigured PoE options on your switch.
