ip arp-mcast-replies documentation

Quite a frequent topic on the discussion forum, but is there any documentation on this other than the initial release notes when this feature was first implented?

 

Looking for the following:

 

-How it works

-Broadcasts/floods all ports?

-etc

 

I didn't not find any documention in any of the manuals (config/mgmt , advanced mgmt).

 

Also, will they implement a similar feature for Neighbor discovery protocol for IPv6?
