LACP-MAD/IRF

I may be mistaken, but are reading the section of LACP-MAD in Managing/Configuring K/KA15.14 Firware based switches, it mentions IRF. Does this mean IRF is going be on ProVision based switches?

TIA.

Re: LACP-MAD/IRF

I doubt that will happen any time soon, if ever. MAD is a scheme to avoid having a partitioned IRF stack by having an out-of-band connection between the IRF members. Now you can use a Procurve with LACP connections to the stack; it's just adding a few vendor extension fields to LACP. IRF enabling the Procurves would be a whole different ball game.
