loss two packet during switching the link

Dear All,

as you can see through the attached screen, I have faced the issue in the following:

we have two Aruba switch 5406 connected by FOC  (Main Link) and also by microwave as (Backup) .

when the cut the FOC for testing the Microwave (backup link) we have lost two packets during the ping between the two SW's

any solution to avoid this losing?

Re: loss two packet during switching the link

Why you don't expect a very limited packets loss when switching from an active primary link to a backup secondary link?

We don't know your configuration...so if your microwave link can be seen as a Layer 2 link (like another cable directly interconnecting your two switches along with the fiber optic one) and you have (R)STP enabled...that link was probably kept down - as a backup - in favour of the active fiber optic link exactly to prevent your network a loop...isn't it?
