New E2620 Switches

Can someone confirm that the new E2620 swtich has the same inter VLAN routing capability as the E2610 that it is replacing. i.e. can it be set to automatically route between VLANS by adding the command "ip routing"?

Looking at the datasheets it suggest this but doesn't actually state it for the E2620

The routing info for the E2610 states:

Layer 3 routing

Basic IP routing: enables automatic routing to the connected VLANs and up to 16 static routes, including one default route, in

IP networks

Wheras the new E2620 states:

Layer 3 routing

Static IP routing: provides manually configured routing; includes ECMP capability

Routing Information Protocol (RIP): provides RIPv1 and RIPv2 routing

Thanks

Andy

According to the information in the website this is applicable to all the 2620 series.

And it will support inter-VLAN routing.
