procurve 2324 no connection

Hello, I have a procurve 10/100 base 24 port 2324 switch. I have been trying to connect to this switch for a week now. I have troubleshooted everything I know to do. Can't get any kind of terminal connection through serial, telnet,ssh. I have all of the settings right going by the manual. I just have a blank screen when on putty or teraterm. Nothing loads or shows up. I have no faults and self test runs good. I've reset the switch, tried connecting to the web management with the ip assigned and nothing. Now, when I ping the switch it instantly responds. I dont understand whats going on. Ifanyone can help with this problem I would appreciate it.

Hi

Is it possible to open an ssh/telnet session from another switch?

I have no other switches. Just use this for soho use.
