Procurve 2510G-24 | 5% CPU Load ?

Hello together,

yesterday i installed 3 new 2510G-24 they all got the latest firmware and working very well as suggested.

Today i got a littlebit time so i checked the devides and find out that all got 5% cpu load.

Its indipendend from the traffic on it ... every gots 5%.

Now im not sure if this is  a missconfig problem or normal with the latest firmware ?

Even at one switch with a older firmware i got 5% load too ?

I got only tagged and untagged VLANs on all my Switches. No routing, no STP nothing.

Even a few 3500yl in the network with 1% CPU Load.

Could someone help me ?

Daniel

Re: Procurve 2510G-24 | 5% CPU Load ?

Each switch model seems to have its own "at rest" level of CPU use.

I'm guessing you'd be happier if HP would calibrate it to only show % CPU use above and beyond the "at rest" utilisation, and I think you have a fair point,
