Re: procurve 2848 switch problem
Does the console give you any output during the switch reboot?

Re: procurve 2848 switch problem
Did you change the baud rate when you did the firmware upgrade?

Re: procurve 2848 switch problem
i have tried all the baud rate but none of dem is giving out an output
all the led light are on, the fault llight, the syst light, the power light, and all the led and port lights are on
i cant get access to the console port or even telnet into it,
i read one of the documentation and it said if all led light are on for prolonged time especially the fault, power, self test light n ports light then it means there is a hardware problem

Re: procurve 2848 switch problem
A switch hardware failure has occurred. All the LEDs will stay on indefinitely. Try power cycling the switch. If the fault indication reoccurs, the switch may have failed. Call your HP-authorized LAN dealer, or use the electronic support services from HP to get assistance. See the Customer Support/Warranty booklet for more information.
