ProCurve 6120XG + JD092B SFP+

Hi,

Does anyone know if the ProCurve 6120XG Blade Switch is capable of supporting the JD092B SFP+ or any 3rd party SFP+? As per the switch's quickspec the supported SR transceiver model is J9150A, however we have several JD092B that would like to reuse.

Hello,

Sorry to say but JD092B is not supported for ProCurve 6120XG +.

JD092B is mainly used for comware based switches. These comware based transecivers has 'JD'  product line whereas Procurve are 'J' product line.

Modules for comware switches use standard hardware and need to use comware coding whereas Procurve transceivers contains sophisticated code.
