Procurve routers problems
This is getting completely disappointment.
I was using the MyProcurve website for about a decade. I had a simple login, a simple password, and it was unchanged for the duration. No one ever stole my Procurve identity, never did anything with it, and never once did I consider my switches to be a state secret. I sent in a ticket, I got an RMA, I sent back the bad part.
Now I get this crap.
I ordered two brand new Procurve routers to handle a T-1 line. I recieved two rebranded 3com pieces of crap that required some archaic, proprietery syntax command language that would make Cisco proud. In this case, literally, as after 4 phone calls to "Bob" in 3com legacy tech support, they still did not work and the Cisco 1601s they were meant to replace are still the live devices.
Your website is a mess. It has drop down menus which do not include the products in the proper place. You have a lookup feature to find the proper drop down fields, and they do not show under those fields either.
One morning, the webpages were in English, but the drop down menus were all in Cyrllic.
Why the hell doesn't Firefox's spell checker work on this page??!?!
If you click on modules and accessories for a Switch, it sends you to a place to buy INK CARTRIDGES!!!!
I swear to God, you bought 3COM and lost your **bleep** minds.
But really, the item that MOST has me in a mood to seach out a new vendor is HP Passport. My old username was invalid. It took me a couple of hours to figure out the exact combination of numbers, uppercase letters, lowercase letters, and special characters (but not all special characters, some of them are prohibited!!!!) that you want in another password. I broke my mouse in frustration.
Everyone knows that a password that you have to write down and tape to your desk to have any chance of remembering is far more secure than one you can memorize. ... you make me change it every two days!!!!. EVERY TWO DAYS!!!
I want to know, precisely, what in the hell is the secret?
PS... you can pass along my cheerfulness to your server division. We just recieved a server that was the replacement for a DOA out of the box. It was held up in customs in Mexico for a month, and Fed Ex held it another month before it was marked as Delivered. CDW eventually got it traced down as left in a trailer at a "local" WalMart... which was 50 miles away.
You may thank your VARs, and my personal adversion to change, that I am still a customer. If this continues, I will be no longer. But I will send in ever larger numbers of 4000Ms for warrantly repair out of spite.
